like to here any stories of anyones tales during the NBA weekend in Feb. We landed right in the middle of it. Bloody hell!!!! Went to Fashion Show Mall on Saturday and stood on the top level looking down for a good 1/2 hour, a lesson in gynecology. More tits and ass and bling than I have ever seen before. I must admit that the "NBA fans" look intimidating, but we spoke to loads of them, and they were all real cool, they seem to like the English accent. Heard that LV will not be welcoming them back in a hurry though. The mayor made a big mistake with this one. And did you see Wayne Newton at the game, wind tunnel effect or what, oh, and he had trouble lip syncing to on of his own songs!!

Let me just say, if the NBA all star weekend never comes back to Vegas it will be to soon, more problems than New Years weekend, cheaper people than comdex, more thefts than the LA riots and more headaches than I ever want again.
It looked like a good idea on paper, but with the tickets to the games being pretty must invite only, what wa left was the scum of the NBA fans looking to cause as many problems as they could.
We had it pretty easy compared to a lot of the other places, shootings at Bellagio and Ceasers, stabbings at Mandalay, cabbies being held up, metro ran a big sting op at the Thomas and Mack to catch people breaking into and stealing cars, one was stolen 6 times in 4 hours !
So no thanks, not again, if it does come back I am taking that weekend off.

No thats called self preservation, funny thing is there was nothing to worry about, we had the K-9's out in force, for some reason NBA fan's don't seem to like being stared at by big german Shepard's.
