V-Flyer

I was just talking to the VS Amex people about a couple of things and they informed that they were able to change my contracted APR on purchases from 17.9% to 8.9% and also offer me a rate of 4.9% on balance transfers until March 2008. Neither of these are that useful to me as I pay my balance off in full every month but it is quite interesting that they are offering these things and it might be useful to someone who doesn't pay off in full.

Maybe they think you would carry a balance at 8.9 but not 17.9.
