Was browsing the hilton web site for info on the new hotel and found this:

Are hotels doing this now??? Ive never seen it before!

The hotel opens on 22 September and I'll be in KL from 25th for about a week - I might be forced to stay a night and file a stay report

I dont think you'll get a plasma in the bathroom!
probably in the main room!
I've stayed in a hotel in Canada that has a 10" Sony portable in the bathroom..
That was quite usefull as you could watch TV from the Jacuzzi!

Dont drop the remote in the bath though!

LCD TV in the bathroom, plasmas in the actual hotel room itself - 2 plasmas in the suite!

Gonna book it for a couple of nights towards end Septermber!

And they're doing triple miles/points until 15th Feb (if anyone needs another incentive!)

Don't know why I didn't pick that bit up as I'm a member of HHonors anyway but it'll do me nicely!

I think you have to book the 'triple miles' rate, which is in the specials section of the hotel site. The prices seem to be a bit cheaper than standard and include breakfast. Will look forward to hearing what you think of it.

No problem - just remembered why I didn't pick up on the triple miles offer, VS are not listed as a participating airline!

I'll ask when I check in (27/9) if VS qualify, if not I'll use my BA card [:0]

Thanks Michael - it looks very flash!

I'll post when I get there to advise if VS are taking part in the triple miles offer - with the number of people thinking of doing the run, 3k miles per stay (if available) is a decent bonus

I find a good trick is to alternate hotels so you get HH points/miles more than once - downside is carting luggage back and forth so don't do it too often.
