OKay so after months or maybe even a year of deciding where the hell i wanna go. I have decided that im going to Australia for 4 weeks. (parents have friends there, free rent/babysitting). Okay so here's teh dilema:

How do i get there?

I've narrowed my choices down to either SIA or MH poss Cathy Pacific.

What do you guys think?
Here are my requirements:
I must end up in Malbourne, Aus. Don't care how i fly there max 1 change!
Must be fully restricted econ or as cheap as you can do
Ample legroom. either i dont want to be stuck on an airline with the worst pitch, im 6"3
Service
IFE
thats about it.

basically its going to be a long flight so want the best seat and teh airline thats going to provide the best service.

cheers

Tom

If seat pitch is important, try Thai. 34" seat pitch in Y on their 744s, and probably halfway decent food too.

Alternatively, Emirates with ICE and 34" in Econ isn't too bad. And the 777 is a nice spacious and quiet plane to travel on. Plus some of the flights are on their new 345s which are supposed to be great.

I've heard nothing but good reviews from Emirates' Y cabin, especially if you get their 777s or A340-500s.

You get decent legroom, great service, and a version of V:PORT that works ;)

You obviously haven't heard my reviews then;) I would not recommend EK from my experiences

Tried three seats - all of which had IFE that crashed with crew that wouldn't reboot. Also ICE has a cr@p selection.

VS.
