Never understood why Waitrose accepted it but JL didn't. Nice to see they will soon. [^]

Am just wondering if my washing machine will last until September ( been making some very unwell noises) - or, if not, whether the larger Waitrose branches sell them....
It's a girl thing [:X]

Waitrose Food and Home in Canary Wharf sell them and take Amex. Or I believe you can buy vouchers on Amex in a Waitrose, then spend in a John Lewis. (I presume this isn't treated as a cash advance)

On track and scheduled for September, EPOS chaps permitting.
In the meantime the GV purchase is a good work around, as described above.
As is buying from
http://www.voucherexpress.com - in the event you are not near a Waitrose. Though do call them if you are wanting to buy large amounts.

Hi Claire,
still on track for September, though mid to late rather than early is the last I heard.
I'll add a further update next week.

Hey, hey! Will this be announced, or will they just quietly introduce it?

All on track and ready to roll out next week - in fact if you shop in Watford JL it's already live.
Online at JLD kicks in next week...

Wonderful news - thanks Phantom. I've been keeping the date in mind, bearing in mind what you'd already said, so am glad to know it's really happening. I haven't seen any publicity about it though... Maybe it's also live in Bluewater, the closest large JL to me.... might just have to go and see.....

Good news Jaguarpig,
The Corp team do and will take Amex - the Hamper and Wine brochure went to press before we were 100% certain Amex would go live - (with IT and EPOS you never know!)
Hope you like the mailer - if you want to place an order and hit any obstacles, do mail me.
regards
