Let's hear is for Amex

I had a question about my amex account, of course this being 2007 even the US Platinum line is now answered by a machine rather than a human [:(!] this does not make for a happy Scrooge..I hate trying to get info with these things, the only thing worse is getting put through to one of those call centers....anyways....so me being me when it asks me what I want I say "give me a f**king human being"......next thing I hear is...."connecting you to a representative" [:0] ....happy Scrooge :D why doesn't every system work that well when I swear at it [?]

I've forgotten it now, but there is a website of phone lines that lists what you need to do to get to speak to someone. I often resort to pressing as many buttons as possible.

Sometimes pressing nothing when prompted puts you straight though to a person as the system can't cope with not getting a keyed response from you.

I know this used to work for Sky TV but I dont think it does now.
