Can anyone recommend any companies specialising in flights from UK to Santiago and if anyone has visited here for a holiday. Current prices are £2250 with Air France for February 2008 in J. Having read reports about Iberia, I wouldn`t want to use them. Other alternative would be Miami with AA then on with Lan Chile.
Any thoughts or advice on this country and routes would be appreciated. It looks great but.....
Thanks.

Is
TAM, via Guarulhos not an option? Bit more expensive, but at least you start going in the right direction when you leave the UK.

Classe de assento n‹o dispon’vel para o v™o(GTP6248-00003)
Anyone know what this means on TAM website? It pops up when I try to get prices even though I am in the English version.

Hmm. Even Babelfish struggles with them:
Classroom of not available seat for vâ„¢o(GTP6248-00003)
Error of Bank of Dados.(GTP6248-09999)
(Even I could have guessed the second one better than babelfish! - Still no idea what it means though. [:?])

No seats available in this class of service...or darn close to it.
Anyways if you can get a TAM flight rock n roll, nice J and C cabins.

Well there is LGW-ATL-SCL on Delta. I recently did IAD-ATL-EZE return for the weekend in BusElite; pretty pimp.
Delta now has video on demand on MOST of their long haul 763s and all 772s. Good food. Will post a TR if you would like.
May I make a suggestion? Possible book LGW-ATL-EZE on Delta then spend a night in Buenos Aires at the very nice Hilton and have dinner at Caba–a Las Lilas then continue on AF EZE-SCL. The return is up to you BUT you get VS miles and TPs if you fly DL.
