We are off to 'Restaurant Gordon Ramsay' in Sept to celebrate our wedding anniversary and want to make it extra special by staying over in London.
We are after a nice hotel, preferably with parking. It'll be a Thursday night so I imagine rates will be high but willing to cough up £200 max for the night.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Chelsea area ?
Thanks

I would recommend The Sloane Square Hotel- it's new, very chi chi and a double costs around £180 which is a bargain for the area.
Enjoy your anniversary,
Regards,
Ian

Parking in London / SW3 is a nightmare - those hotels that have parking charge the going rate, which for SW3 is circa £28 per day.
My Hotel (SW3 Chelsea)is worth a look - very nice, chilled and a little bit different to the norm, 10 minute walk from GR's place.
Other than that and the earlier post - there are better hotels within a £10 cab ride, depending on what you want.
GR RHR is a great restaurant though, so you are bound to have a super time.
enjoy it!

Now no longer the Conrad I'm afraid. It's been renamed the Wyndham London Chelsea Harbour.

The Millennium & Copthorne Hotels At Chelsea Football Club is not too far away (well Fulham to be precise).
It's also a Flying Club partner hotel

Nooo, when did that happen? So is there no longer a Conrad presence in London?

Thanks everyone, hadn't even thought about collecting miles [^], what a bonus. Will take a look at the suggestions now.
I'll also feedback on the restaurant, really looking forward to it [:o)]

Thanks Steve
I have booked a room at The Millenium, its not a match day so parking will be available. £24 is cheaper than two train tickets from where we live.
I have also managed to get tickets for 'Ricky Gervais Live' at Hammersmith Apollo for that night so it'll be a great anniversary.
Lunch at GR's, afternoon nap and then second from front row tickets to see Ricky, then no rush to get home and no public transport. Perfect [^][^]
