Hi

well I've kind of messed up, we need one night in Vegas next March, literally flying in then out again next day, we were in Vegas last year and stayed at Venetian and JW Marriott, but I loved the look of The Wynn. I read the topic on here about where you'd all stay and Wynn came out tops, rang them, got a great deal and then just didn't get round to booking it, now price is $200 more for same room. Am now well cheesed off, and have started to look at Platinum Hotel, it seems good value, has good reviews on Trip Advisor, anyone stayed there or got opinions? I know its not going to be the Wynn, but the rooms sound good, the rates are good, and it is only for one night. Have also considered Signature at MGM Grand, but the size of that hotel puts me off a bit.

thanks in advance

Lynne

The Platinum Hotel was mentioned here a few weeks ago and it's not a good review I'm afraid.

Should have stayed at the Centurion. I hear it is quite the rave.

Haven't stayed at the Platinum but I'm not taken with the reviews. Have walked past it, wasn't keen on the location.
Try the Signature at MGM Grand, much nicer.

Find a place you'd be happy with but you can cancel up to the last minute, then maybe your first choice will have a good deal nearer the time :D

Just returned from The Platinum today. Even with being given 7 free nights and $100 to spend because of the last problems we had there, it was just as bad, even worse this time. Room was not cleaned properly most days. Turn down service is hit or miss. Had to call down 3 nights running to get them to turn off the music from the pool area at 2,3 and 4 in the morning. The chambermaid cleaned up a desk i was working at and threw the box of a brand new video camera I had just bought away. Forgot our room breakfast yesterday morning. As before, the place is like a morgue, I don't think they will survive very much longer

We had 4 nights at the MGM Signature, we booked direct with the owner and I thought it was fabulous! Couldn't recommend it more!
