You have to take your hat off to them for their never ending quest for finding new and novel charges:D:D:D:D
"Taking off a hat sir? that'll be £5"

I have just realised I am going to get caught with this new policy big time [V] I have booked a flight to LGW and back on Ryanair going out on Sep 28 and returning Sep 30. I am going to a wedding and because of that there is no way I can get my make-up, perfume, lotions and potions into a small ziplock bag. In any case, things like hair mousse do not come in containers less than 200ml. I therefore have been in the ridiculous position of paying for a baggage charge to check in what is essentially an overnight bag because of the security restrictions on liquids. I now find I shall have to pay an extra charge at check-in [V]

Couldn't you post or courier over what you need and then do the same in reverse? It would possibly be a cheaper option?

heh, you've got to love this monkey airline.
What will the next charge be? £1 to email the confirmation to you??

£1.50 [:0] I can't believe the utter meanness of this company. I've never flown with them, so can't comment on what that feels like - but I just sincerely hope passengers will refuse to fly with them and that they go under. Might sound a bit harsh, but airlines do need to realise why they're there, and stop soaking the travelling public on a self-serving whim. Sorry, ranting a bit there...

Does Ryan Air still think of itself as a Low Cost Carrier, I wonder? I detest the way they take every opportunity to squeeze even more money out of their pax and also their measley 15kg baggage allowance [xx(]
Unfortunately for me they are the only airline that flies from LGW to ORK, near to where I have family. At least once year I have to bite the bullet and fly with them. I hate myself for it [xx(]

But to be fair, what do you expect of an airline that charges such low fares?
