Superb article on a United Airlines pilot who takes the notion of "customer service" to levels unheard of these days. Made me feel very good just knowing that this professional sees things from the customer's POV.

Isn't it sad how people initially question a genuine act of kindness nowadays, assuming that there is a hidden objective....
Wish more employees were that commited to customer care.

I love to see stuff like that going on. Kudos to Capt Flanagan and long may he continue with his quest to bring a bit of good old fashioned "style" back to aviation.

This guy sounds great - Do VS have anyone similar?
I remember flying with a Captain called Buster who seemed to have a good effect on passengers, but not to this level!
