AF LCY-DUB
Posted: 01 Oct 2007, 03:31Booking my lazy parents' trip to Europe. So Air France flies LCY to DUB. AF is not Irish or British. Why do they fly this route? (Besides the money I assume it generates.)
Is run by Cityjet (Irish airline) who are an AF Franchise and owned 100% by AF.
AF/Cityjet have had a real push on LCY after they have seen the expansio/popularity of VLM at the airport. Orginally Cityjet/AF operated DUB-CDG and LCY-CDG.
Cityjet originally started under a franchise license from VS back in the mid 90's hence pictures on a.net of Bae 146 aircraft in the VS scheme.
