LHR to Derby

Guys

I am looking for some advice/recommendations re transport from LHR to Derby.

We are heading back to the UK next year and the best deal I could get was into LHR and we need to get to Derby. Can anyone suggest any CDC companies that would do a one way trip (we can get a lift back to LHR but not collected). Never looked into this kind of thing when we lived in UK so not sure where to start - have only been able to find LHR to central London so far.

We don't fancy the bus and not really up for HEX, tube and train after 21hrs flying. Nor do I relish the idea of hiring a car and driving.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Thanks.

I just used http://www.airporttaxis-uk.com/ and was pleasantly surprised. They quoted HALF the fare Addison Lee wanted. The driver was courteous and the car clean and modern. I don't know if I got lucky. They quote about £180 LHR to Derby FWIW.

Try Chauffeur Plus - they have a base near LHR & also one in Derby. I have used them in the past and they are very reliable, cars comfy and clean. Chauffeur Plus - 01332 720759 / +44 1332 720759 from outside the UK.

Thanks
James
