V-Flyer

Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone has flown with VLM out of London City?

I'm thinking of giving them a try up to Manchester in a few weeks.

I've flown Fokker 50's several times before, so I know what to expect in terms of the aircraft, but wondered if anyone here has had any experience of their service, what the punctuality is like (supposedly good, says the marketing), etc.

They are the dominant carrier now out of LC, so I'm guessing they can't be all that bad!

sorry for the delay, been away for a few days. I've used VLM from LCY a few times in the last year or so, they are excellent.

Every flight (six in total I think) has left on time and arrived on time or early. Their service is very friendly, probably the chattiest cabin crews I've met outside of a VS plane.

On the MAN flight they manage to get a quick food & drink service in, decent rolls and alcoholic drinks included.

I always feel like I'm getting the service that BA aspire to on their short haul, usually for an Easy or Ryanair price.

Great, they always look a pretty slick operation when I've seen them scooting in and out of LCY.

I'll definitely fly with them up to Manchester in a couple of weeks!
