I have been to the Hyatt a couple of times a few years ago mind. Not overly impressed, the pool area is good but there are much better hotels in Hong Kong. Its Wan Chai location is interesting if you have already done Central,Tsim Sha Tsui east and Causeway Bay.Now sadly the Ritz Carlton is being demolished in January I will try the Conrad above Pacific Place on our next visit.

To be honest I have never been in HK before, but just passed through the airport. I have just been advised that after a days work that Wanchai has the best number of pubs / restaurants all within walking distance of the Hyatt - Is this correct of incorrect information I have been given?

For pub type places I prefer D'Aguilar Street/ Lan Kwai Fong,in central, some of the clubs in Wan Chai can be eye wateringly expensive don't speak to the pretty ladies and never buy them a drink[;)]
