Heading to London for the weekend end of May with the wife the 2 girls (10+12) and my folks. Any good hotels that you guys could suggest. Have looked at the Capital in Basil street where I folks usually stay but I am not sure of it would really be ideal. Would like a nice 5* but nothing thats going to cost a fortune - Really woudl like somewhere in the KNightsbridge area or around Bond Street,
Thanks

K

I'm a big fan of the Firmdale hotels (Soho Hotel, Covent Garden Hotel, Haymarket Hotel etc...) they're all rather lovely

Mandarin Oriental would seem ideally placed...

I was talking to a friend the other day who recommended The Baglioni. He said the staff were brilliant and the location fits perfect with your requirement. Can't vouch for it myself but Trip Advisor reviews & photos look good also.

The Baglioni is pretty pricey....

There are a few Starwood hotels a short distance away that may be better value - Sheraton Park Tower, and The Park Lane Hotel.

I am a big fan of this small group too - current personal favourite is Haymarket Hotel and not too expensive either (Location fab to boot)
