Video
here and story
here A doctor from London who said he was thrown off a Ryanair flight for talking during the safety demonstration is demanding compensation.
Maybe a bit OTT but people should try and listen or shut up for the safety demo.

Like all these sorts of stories, what actually took place may or may not be close to the reported story. But in principle, quite reasonable to warn, and then remove a pax for ignoring safety demo and affecting other people's ability to hear it also.

Hmmmm, I wonder if the Dr's account of what happened might be slightly toned down so he looks the innocent party. I find it very hard to imagine that the CC/Captain would call the police unless totally necessary. Obviously we will never know the true events but I think if a 47year old man (a Dr no less) can't keep quiet for a few minutes whilst a safety demo is done then he deserves everything he gets.

Another Ryanair story where we'll only hear half of it although based on the Dr's account, it sounds like someone either having a bad day or throwing their weight around. It does however raise an interesting thought?
If they have removed from a plane for talking, what about those who sit down and strap on a iPod, read, fall asleep etc etc. and never hear the safety briefing?
OK, if he was talking so loudly that other couldn't hear then fair enough. But he might have been just whispering.

I heard the Dr on the radio and got the impression he was one of those 'I am a Dr and so much more important than you dear' how very dare you tell me to be quiet.
I also noted that the representative from Ryanair sounded a bit of a jobsworth numpty as well though.

Sorry but I think Ryanair may have found another way of making/saving a few quid. Everyone knows they see having to fly customers to their chosen destination as an inconvenience to making as much profit as possible.
I would have thought being a Dr he would have been more sensible than to fly with such an outfit.
