BAA plan to charge 20 per car to drop off pax

Came across this whilst trawling the net today. Story Here

I hope this will never happen but somehow i am sure it probably will.
What will they think of next? maybe they will start charging passengers for the use of arrivals and departures areas and 10 for the use of a luggage trolley[}:)].

They already charge for trollies at Gatwick [:(!]

The people at off-airport parking sites such as Purple Parking must be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of providing a cheaper service.

Not sure how BAA are going to charge for lorries using the M4 - they don't own it.

I'm sure I read somewhere that all the off-site operators were in dispute with BAA as they want to increase the fees they charge for them to use Heathrow to puck-up or drop=off. The increase was something like £3 a trip.
