I miss Concorde - It was my childhood dream to fly on it and if It had been in service just a couple of years longer I would have been able to afford it!

It wasn't that great, the big difference was how you were handled on the ground, BA went out of their way to make sure you knew you were special to them, other than that and the feeling of power on take off it was like being in a 737, except the bathrooms were tiny.

and were bloody noisy as you flew just south of where I am. In the early days the windows would rattle twice a day!

I know. Concorde would fly over the swimming pool and the water would ripple. Too noisy too. Remember when I was a young child on the playground and the teachers would tell us to cover our ears. Silly really.
