One dreads to think what this person might have done if confronted with a good old London Heathrow boarding party ...

Perhaps this is the way forward in priority exiting?

Yeah I think the worst case I've ever had was with with VS at LAX after being bussed to immigration. There was a completely ineffectual VS staffer herding people about seemingly completely randomly, without any thought most importantly for folks with connections, and then whether or not you had any status or were travelling at the pointy end. Egalitarian maybe, but after an hour and a half at immigration it merely reinforced my belief that LAX is consistently the worst place to enter the US.

More recently, on my commutes on BA LGW-JER-LGW we often arrive at an international gate at LGW North Terminal, where we have to deplane from the back steps and get bussed. So as a J pax you get off last, and that's after the surprise that BAA have that they need (a) a bus and (b) some steps. Still, there's worse to come. Despite the bus drop off at the North Terminal for 'domestic' is a good ten minute walk until you get to the baggage. And then you invariably have to wait a further twenty minutes before your bags appear. My record so far had been 1.5 hours from landing to getting on board the Gatwick Express. For a 35 minute air journey.

Cheers, Howard

Oh a Thai Air flight when in business we were bused to the terminal. J off first (no F) and escorted to a specific J only bus, nice big comfy seats to be quickly whisked off to the terminal. When its like that busing in isn't a problem.
