Hi, quick question, are FC miles and TPs earnt on Silkair? I'm think of travelling on SQ codeshare fare codes. The FC website mentions Silkair but doesn't make it clear.

Thanks!

Don't know for sure but the T&Cs seem to suggest that as the SilkAir flight will not have a VS prefix you won't be able to earn miles:

15.1 Miles will only be earned on a code share flight with a partner that has a 'VS' prefix. All other code share operated or marketed flights by the partner with an airline other than Virgin Atlantic will not qualify for miles.

Hope this helps

Silkair are not a VS FC partner so you will not earn miles or TP's.

Nope, SilkAir are a subsidiary of SQ. If the flight has a SQ flight number (not MI), then you will earn at the usual rates.

Interesting, that really isn't explained very well in the FC T&C's, or on the SilkAir site.

There's lots of things not explained very well in the T&C's, almost a reason alone why the site has so many questions!

Cheers all, I guessed I was more likely to get an accurate answer on here then risking asking VS
