Reportedly 24 airlines have failed this year with analysts saying a similar number are about to go.
It does not help having MOL giving interviews saying the only way to be safe from failure is to book with large airlines like BA, LH and Ryanair. Its a cut-throat business now!

It is times like these when it pays to book through a wholesaler - online or over the phone or on the high street - as not only will most match what ever you see on the airline's site direct they will also cover you with scheduled airline faliure insurance which is a compulsory feature of tickets brought through agents...
