Air New Zealand to reconfigure 777 fleet
Posted: 26 Nov 2008, 02:19Air New Zealand will reconfigure their 8 aircraft 777 fleet to increase the size of their Pacific Premium Economy cabin during the coming months.
The reconfiguration will double the available PE seats from 18 to 36, and increase PE seat pitch from 39' to 41'.
Apparently, since moving the LHR via LAX flights (NZ1/2) to 777s in October, the small PE cabin has proved seriously inadequate, as I predicted it would be several months ago.
The new config will be: 26/36/242 (from 26/18/269).
