Just to let anyone who is heading to Vegas in the next 4 days know, we are expecting a winter storm, that means snow and low temps, please pack accordingly.

Also if you are driving in from Southern California, please note that there are road works on I-15, throw in snow and you could have issues, please check that I-15 is open before you leave.

Well while I was sleeping Las Vegas got hit by another storm, this one far larger than the one that hit on Monday, right now LAS is open, but with reduced operations, if you are on the Vegas flights for the next couple of days please check that they are running before leaving home.

Also if you are coming to Vegas, snow gear maybe a good idea.

Well it looks like todays 43 ended up at LAX ! no idea about 44 ? any crew around to let us know ?

here are some pictures of the area

It's nuts - Luxor pyramid covered in snow!!! Las Vegas Bowl like a Green Bay game! A lot of people around here are talking about taking flights down to see the Strip in the snow, but it actually looks like it's going to be really difficult to get a flight in the next couple of days. Bet it's interesting being there right now.

It's different for sure, where I am we get snow most years, but this time the whole valley got hit.

I will be putting up some pictures with the views around my area, I will put a link up.

Not surprising, this is the first real rainstorm we've had in Cal this winter, the peaks are whitening, and so is Vegas ... can't see planes taking off at SFO right now, and they are landing on the short runway from the ocean, something usually reserved for very unique storms. What fun ...

The great thing is, this morning on the news the weather person was making it out to be the storm of the year and of course we had a very nice day, somethings change, predicting the weather doesn't seem to [:p]

No kidding, very unimpressive weekend, we had rain for a couple of hours, that was it.

Here we go again, though not snow or rain, but wind, 60 mph + winds, so you can bet that the VS flights will be delayed.
