From 2nd Feb, miles will be deposited into your FC account within 5 business days of your statement.

Well, I'll believe that when I see it.

Why change it? Everyone knows they go in on the 1st of the month following your statement, this way you are only going to have people constantly checking, and calling MBNA to find out why there miles haven't gone in etc.

I think you need to create a 'MBNA are knuckle heads' group on Facebook[:D]

Well, my statement was generated yesterday, and my miles appeared in my account today. I am amazed! [:0]

For some reason, they wouldn't give me an MBNA VS card. So I will continue to chalk up 'free miles' with my BA Amex...

My miles from my statement generated yesterday are in my FC account now too. Maybe MBNA can do something right when they try!

Last couple of months i've noticed my FC miles appearing within 48 hrs of the statement, also online payments to my MBNA card now seem to be only taking 2 days whereas they used to take 5-7 business days.

Just checked my online account and I can also confirm it now only takes 2 days to make a payment.

I paid via my online banking bill payment system, the payment left my bank account on 15th and MBNA received and processed it on the 17th.

Mind you, 2 days is still way too slow in this day and age.

I agree. I now pay the full balance by direct debit, but I notice that if you use the MBNA online payment system, it now takes an extra day for the payment to show on your account.

Thats correct, the payment is credited in 2 daqys but appears on the account on the 3rd. Have had a few anxious moments lats month thinking I had made my payment too late but when I checked the next day it was there with a credit two working days after I made the payment but I agree it should be a lot quicker to process these days !
