Travelling to the Airport

Last year, when I had my first Virgin flight, a limo from my house to the airport was included.
Naturally, this has opened my eyes to how stress free the whole thing is, this way.

Does anyone have any recommendations for airport transfers? I've been quoted 34 from SW16 to Heathrow which seems fantastic...

£34 seems very reasonable to me.

I use Tristar all the time for both professional and personal use. They are the CDC which Virgin (and Emarites and BA Premier use)and was formally owned by SRB. Not as cheap as your quote but I find them very reasonable and with excellent customer service esp their Premier service is to be thoroughly recommended.

I generally use Dot 2 Dot. Though they have just been sold, so will have to see what happens to them. Quite handy for getting back to East London at weekends when the Jubilee line or DLR are doing more engineering work.

£34 seems too cheap almost. I also looked at Carey but they are expensive. Tristar look great.

I think Dot2Dot just go into Central London which wouldn't suit.

B

I wholeheartedly agree with Hackneyguy[y][y]

I always use Tristar and whilst it might be about 15 - 20% more than using the local 'Kamikaze Kabs', the drivers have always been on time, they are polite, know what they are doing and the cars are clean.

Even if you are dropped off at the Terminal, you still feel a million dollars after the experience.

I alway use the old faithful Addison Lee, they are prompt, polite and all round good value. From SW12 to LHR approx £50-ish.
