We are off to BOS shortly and will be renting a car from Dollar for a few days.

We are collecting the car from a downtown location in Boston near our hotel then off to Cape Cod for two nights. We will then return the car to the airport.

My question is. Can you return the car directly to the terminal or is the depot off airport involving a shuttle to the terminal? [:?]

I would be grateful if someone can tell me as we will need to allow for the extra time a shuttle takes if that is the case.

Its a shuttle ride Jeff, or was 2 years ago, but only a few minutes [:)]

It was still a shuttle last year.

It is a shuttle and, although my experience is a couple of years ago, be careful when you return a car from 'out of town'.

It isn't a full Dollar depot - apparently it is a franchise and I had all on convincing them that I had arranged to drop off a car that I hadn't rented from them.

You should be okay if yours is rented in Boston though, as mine was from JFK, but just a heads up.

I booked through FC and will take all the paperwork with me. It clearly states the pick up and drop off details so fingers crossed there won't be a problem.
