I am so pleased that the Jamaican PM is on his way to take charge of the situation [:0].

Hope all resolved soon, terrible for the crew and not a good advert for the airport security [:?].

Indeed.

On a slightly lighter note, how long is it since anyone uttered the words 'take me to Cuba' in a hijacking ?

Nowadays, I'm half expecting an airline to do an advert along the lines of 'You don't need to hijack an aircraft to get to Cuba - we fly there three times a day! And with fares from just $59.00, it's cheaper than buying a gun, the potential loss of life and/or crippling legal fees!'
