ANZ show how to do Y food properly...

Having seen KK's trip report from VS19 with it's vile food, I thought I'd look online for pics of ANZ economy food, as they seemed to be setting a good standard.
I found a trip report from a HKG-LHR sector from late last year on
a.net, so I ruthelessly linked to these images from it to show what the competition can do:
Breakfast ex-HKG:

Midflight snack:

Lunch about 90 mins out of LHR:

When you compare that against what VS are dishing up, it's like chalk and cheese.

Wow! Some of that looks really appetising. I was very disappointed to see a cuplet of water in the VS Y selection (in one of the trip reports) now rather than the bottle. The scrambled eggs look boke though.

Dom - it may look better but certainly not appertizing in my view or to my taste.
TBH I have yet to fly in Y (or W) - and IF I ever do it seems like I would need to bring my own food with me.
Now if there was pics of the drinks served [:?][:w]

I can't wait for the day that happens. A full photo report would be needed as proof. [}:)]

Dom - it was a feeble joke [?] - that said, I'm with HackneyGuy, if Gordon Ramsey's Plane Food opens at T3, I'd buy one their inflight meals to take on board. I am, seriously, considering taking my own in future on VS ...

According to Saturday's
Times, Virgin food ranks alongside Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food, both one point below the leader - British Airways.
Yes, SQ, CX and EK don't rate as highly, although I love EK's presentation.
I wonder if they'd used NZ's food what would the result have been?
