I must admit that this doesn't fit in with my pre-conceived image of Aeroflot. [8D][:I]

Thanks for that Nick,

The thought of a calendar featuring LCC cabin crew in their bikinis nearly made me revisit my breakfast [:$]

On the flights I took with them the FA's were stunning, from what I could gather the international routes were given to the daughters of people who were connected.

Though the IFE sucked the food and service were great and the upgrade/ bribe cost could not be beat.

I suppose if you are plunging vertically to the ground at 500mph you might as well have someone nice to look at.[:0]

You won't get me anywhere near Aeroflot[V]

For me, you can add United and American to that list.

FACT! The words Aeroflot and Aer Lingus mean the same thing.

Nick, did you post this just to get me in an argument[:D]

Haved travelled aeroflot dozens of times and never ever had a bad flight.
Their new generation a/c are very good and meals are more than adequate.
I admit their internal flights used to be certainly an experience but then so is Easyjet and Ryanair[:)]
Now compared with internal US flights they are supberb with food and drink still provided.

Mr Jeffers555, from what experience are you referring from.
Gloves on ready to go[}:)]

Iain - I must confess I did think of you when I read the story in the paper this morning. [:D][}:)]

I have never flown Aeroflot and my pre-conceptions are all fuelled by media stories. I do recall you saying in the past that they are a good airline and you don't mind using them.

Having just returned from Moscow, I have to say that Aeroflot are probably just applying the current fashion in Russia.
Clothing of many young ladies seems to be a close replica to that of Tinkerbelle (The Avatar!!!!)
Could pack two weeks clothes in my pockets!

Since Aeroflot have started investing in Boeing and Airbus aircraft, I think that their product does look very good.
