US Pre-Clearance at Shannon
Posted: 05 Aug 2009, 14:43Today passengers on flights to the US were able to avail of full pre-clearance at SNN. Previously pre-clearance at DUB was for Immigration only.
Mind you, I still wouldn't fly from SNN. It's not so much the outbound, but being tossed off an aircraft at 0-dark o'clock and having to drive for something like three hours, hitting the cities of Limerick and Cork in the rush hour. [:0] I'd much rather use LHR and fly into my home airport and a quick 35 minute sprint home.
