NYC Hotel - 2 Rooms / 3 People

Hi guys,

We're looking at doing a weekend pre-Christmas shopping / sightseeing trip in December in New York and need a hotel - ideally midtown / times square.

Only problem is that the mother-in-law wants to come and we're trying to avoid being stung for sole occupancy on her room (and no, I'm not sharing our room with her).

Any sugestions? (mother-in-law jokes accepted for entertainment value, even if they're not particually helpful!)

Cheers,

nibbs

MIllemium Hilton at Ground Zero has very nice junior suites that have a bedroom with a living roon and a Sofa Bed.

Same applies at the Affinia 50. (Near Rockefeller Plaza)

Have stayed at both and would recommend either [y]

Outside bet might be Club Quarters - wanted to stay there but never managed it yet!

PM me if you need more info.

A second vote for the Affinia 50. I stayed there last year with a married couple in a junior suite and it worked out fine. The website shows room plans which may help

We've booked the Doubletree Times Square for December, which has a bedroom and a lounge with a sofabed, and also a small kitchen area. It's right on Times Square but the reviews say that it's quiet and you get great views.

Hope that helps.
