Hi all
I am off to Dubai in Feb 2010, as the flight lands at 8.00am, is anyone able to tell me whether there are any hotels that allow you to check in that early? Or is it a case of hope for the best and if not wait around until late afternoon?

Some do, its all dependant on availibilty. You could ask the hotel if they'll do a 'half day' rate to enable you to check in when you arrive?
Thanks,
Sarah

I would not think you would have any problem, but as Sarah says ask first. What hotel are you staying at?

Still undecided for hotel choice - only in Dubai for 2 days then off to Oman for a wedding.
The Address looks nice and Raffles VFM - not fussed about beaches, not really a fan of sand.

When we have stayed at the Hilton Dubai Creek, the room has been made available as soon as it was ready, with an offer to sit by the pool[y]
I think most of the Hotels are used to this and try to do the utmost to accommodate guests, but it does depend on availability

The Address at Burj Dubai would be good for the fountains, Old Town and Dubai Mall. Another Address Hotel has also recently opened at the Marina - there is so much choice now (a 60 floor Rotana is due to open soon).
Good luck

I was given a room straight away at Le Royal Meridien after landing on the VS flight.

Me too. Managed to have breakfast in the exec lounge as they readied the room.
