Engine fire on Monarch plane

What really annoys me about these sort of stories is:

WTF, no one was injured, there was no medical emergency, why would a paramedic be needed - perhaps some sweet tea or something stronger, but certainly not an paramedic crew that could actually be better used saving peoples lives.
