Copying Passport
Posted: 30 Aug 2010, 10:32Before I do anything stupid, can anyone please confirm that I will not damage a UK biometric passport by making a photocopy of the details ? !

Posted: 30 Aug 2010, 12:53It's also a good idea to scan it and email yourself a copy, so you can retrieve it if the worst happens and you lose everything.

In the leaflet I just had from the IPS with my new passport it specifically sugegsts taking a phtocopy of the ID page

Totally agree. Along with driving licence....
