Ok so as the title suggests, where in the world do you still want to visit that you haven't been to yet.
I'll start...
1 - The Great Wall of China
2 - Rio de Janeiro (Come on VS - please start this route!

)
3 - The Taj Mahal
4 - Ayers Rock
5 - Moscow
:X

The North Pole (somehow prefer the name North to South)
Buenos Aires (sorry Tinks, BA before Rio please)
Shiraz - apparently beautiful, the source of the wine, sadly now dry!
Tokyo believe it or not!
Cambodia before it gets ruined

Would have said North Pole myself, but we're off to Tromso and Svalbard maybe in November, and I'm gonna call it close enough

Buenos Aires
Madagascar
Iran
Andaman Islands
Tibet

Tokyo (to see that Crossing)
Washington (to visit the Smithsonian)
Necker Island (well that has to be the ultimate!!)

Hull, there is a reason its on this list. B)
Tend to agree with Slinky, B.A. would be a good one for VS..! would still prefer over Rio; opens up a whole host of opportunities..

2. South Africa.
3. Cairns.
4. India.
5. Some un-named country that doesn't have a Starbucks, Burger King, KFC or Mickie D's (but does have 4* hotels) - if such a place exists.

Great one Nick, that would be Cuba ten years ago. Perhaps Burma :0 ?

I don't recall seeing any such outlets in Havana 3 years back - though I didn't visit Guantanamo - and the Hotel Nacional was pretty good (save for the smoking...).
For me it is;
Washington DC (hopefully next year)
South Africa
Australia
Cambodia
Ferness (or anywhere I can see the northern lights without having to risk severe frostbite)

Nice one Nick!
Locally the
Koryo Hotel is classed as a 5*.
I wonder if the
Ryugyong Hotel might be classed as 4* if/when they finish it in 2012
Quite certain there are no Starbucks, Burger King, KFC or Mickie D's anywhere near ....
Does sound like an interesting place to visit :w
I would add:
2. South Georgia
3. Campbell Islands
4. Montserrat
5. Ethiopia
Very few hotels never mind 4*!

Looking at other people's lists I was surprised at how many places I had actually visited. My wish list is in no particular order:
1. New Zealand
2. China but especially the Great Wall of China and the terracotta warriors
3. Alaska
4. Antarctica including the Aurora Australis
5. Somewhere in South America but there's too many places to choose

One of the things I miss about the old site was that map where you could show all the countries you had visited.
Couldn't show Antarctica though n(

Tinks - see what you've done now? She'll be busy looking at flights and hotels for these places now (again).

1- Singapore - would love to see the F1 race there.
2- Kruger Park SA - desperately want to go on safari.
3- New Zealand - always fancied it, would like to see an all blacks game out there preferably playing England.
4- San Francisco - A city I've always wanted to go to.
5- The other Caribbean Islands (St Lucia, Grenada, Cuba, Bahamas)I've not been too, as its a life long ambition to work my way around them.
