OK it's MOL speaking but how true is the figure in the quote?

It is also unacceptable that Spanish Air Traffic Controllers, some of whom earn almost €1 million per year

I thought strikes were 'OK' as far as airlines were concerned in not having to pay compensation to pax under the 'extraordinary circumstances' exemption.

As to the million euro salary it's probably for the chief executive of the organisation and inflated by bonuses and back pay etc. But never let the facts get in the way !

Remember the story about the 'superhead' and his apparant £ 250 k annual salary? Turned out to be nothing of the sort when you actually looked at it in detail.
