The NH's have dilemma, well me specifically. Snr NH's 70th, my 20th ):
We can entice the snrs along in April on the basis we get our adult only break in the summer.. |:)
Florida has advantages to us, through accomodation links,(and as mentioned eslewhere the restrictive VS routing/ logistics at this end) however Disney is not on the agenda this time (mini needs to stop that as being routine..)
One thought was sometime in either Key West or somewhere like Clearwater..Now the issue is we don't do days of lying on the beach,Mrs NH comes out in hives if there's no decent shopping nearby and we need stuff for Mini to do. the old man & me like a bit of fishing, so the above options seemed ideal.

Any thoughts?

NH

I have always fancied the look of Captiva amd Sanibel. They seem to meet all requirements - shopping etc - and, most importantly, I hear that the fishing is excellent. y)

And easily accessible from Fort Myers. y)

Another thumbs up for South West Florida.
Fort Myers Beach down to Naples.

Fishing is excellent and unfortunately there is shopping nearby ):

Agree with Bill - SW Florida is a great area. And shopping isn't bad either - either Ellenton or Miromar outlet malls..... :)

Watch out fishing in Sanibel or Captiva - you're most likely to catch an Alligator than a fish....
