iPhone alarms hit by New Year glitch

(if this is in the wrong forum I'm sure one of our lovely mods will do the necessary)

Saw this report on the BBC website

Some of these comments are just annoying and tbh I have very little sympathy for any of them !

Demanding Apple write a letter to their manager because they were late for work for instance!

So where would these people stand if they tried to claim these extra costs from their insurers for their missed trains and planes?

My view would be 'tough and buy a proper alarm clock' !

This is so funny. My other half swore blind she'd set the alarm for this morning and it didn't go off. I blamed the tiredness from NYE! Anyway, and luckily for us, my Windows Phone 7 correctly woke us up this morning.

Apple don't seem to be able to get the clock/alarm function to work very well on iPhones, as this is not the first late alarm issue the iPhone has suffered. The same thing happened when the clocks went back last year!!

I also wondered why my iPhone alarm did not go off on Jan 1st.

It's amazing the Jesus phone has these issues with basic functions, but people are going a bit over the top, I agree. Do people really rely on just a phone alarm to wake themselves up when they are at home? (On holiday I can sort of understand)

oh and I won't make a sarcastic comment about Androids, as it appears there's now a critical SMS bug that sends texts to the wrong person!
