Dollar express

I'm trying to book US car hire via the UK dollar site - rates are very favourable to elsewhere. Al is fine, except I can't see anywhere to input my dollar express number! There's a field for it on the US site! I've just called the UK team and essentially they have no idea where this should go or even if it can be input.

Anyone got experience of this? If I book through the UK site and can't quote my number, would I still be able to use the express desk in the UK, as long as I have my number with me????

Yes, I usually booked Dollar through USrentacar and never have my Dollar Express number in the booking. Just make sure you have your card with you and go to the Express queue, we always do it and have never had a problem.

I have just booked our Dollar rental, through US Rent A Car, for an upcoming trip. I telephoned USRAC and gave them my Dollar Express number, which they included on the voucher under 'Rental Details', in the 'Rental Notes' box.

I have been a Dollar Express member for about five years, and never had a problem with going straight to the 'Express' line or booth, even when the membrship number is not on the voucher.

Incidentally, US Rent A Car's price was around £40 cheaper than Dollar UK, for an eighteen day, mid-size SUV rental.

Kind regards,

John
