So where do v-flyers keep their passports?

I have a box with other travel gubbins like insurance documents, loyalty cards etc.

My favourite is "Last seen in pocket of a coat donated to tramp".

My passport hasn't left my bag in years!

I remember the days of watching 'Airline' and 'Airport' with classic excuses for forgetting their passport.

I keep mine in the drawer of my bedside cabinet, been there for years.

Mine's in the safe which is considerably bigger than it used to be. With my memory getting worse as each year passes, I now need to store everything of any importance in the same place! Has anyone seen my glasses?
