Dollar Express

Hello again,
Just wanted to post a quick message to say thank you to everyone who assisted regarding my Dollar car hire queries and to all those who pointed us in the direction of Dollar Express.
We arrived at Orlando airport on April 15th and armed with just the DE membership card printed from on-line, we followed the instructions given here to go sraight over to the DE desk situated in the car park. No queque, completed minimum paperwork (coz all was recorded when registering with DE) and we got keys and choice of vehicle all within 10 minutes. Went to the 'special lane' and there was a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan with just 340 miles on the clock. VIP sticker hanging on the mirror. Fantastic car with so many gadgets. However what then followed makes me have reservations about cars with so many 'additional electrical bits'. Just four days into our holiday, the darn thing froze! The key just wouldn't work anything and as a result the car 'died'. Dollar sent a replacement which is another long story. We only kept this heap of junk for a day before having to drive to Tampa to exchange it. At this point we was given a brand new vehicle again, after my son-in-law mentioned the words DE member
.
We had booked the car hire via Net.Flights as usual, got a really good deal and everything went really smoothly. We was checking in at the Floridays Resort within an hour of clearing immigration (which for info was a total breeze).
Thanks again for all your info and advice.
