Just wanted to share with everyone what an amazing place this brand new hotel is!
If you get the chance to go then do it, its modern in a graceful way, the staff were amazing, the food delicious and the cocktails sublime and the spa exceptional, not to mention all the quirkey hide outs too.

The reason why im bringing it up is because quite often we like to get away from things like work work work.
We find London the best option for a getaway but everywhere we stay obviously feels fast paced with the city outside the front foyer.

Its not always my preference to keep hiking down to LHR for a weekend break.

Being 5 miles from Twickenham in a large country estate provides the relaxed atmosphere of a country home but with a level of service expected of a top London establishment.
Plus activities such as trout fishing at their own lake and clay pigeon shooting made it a true holiday experience without having to fly somewhere, it felt anything but a Hilton own hotel.

cheers

Thank you for the recommendation. I have stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in New York and thought it was amazing, so will certainly look to give this one in London a try.

That looks very nice, as you say, a good place for a quick get away.

I do have to say though, their website just annoys the heck out of me.

There's a thread with pics in the Hilton forum on FT - the pictures look amazing; the hotel and surroundings look lovely and the finish of the rooms looks very opulent. Hoping to try it out at some point.

I have heard great things about this place through the hotel industry grapevine but really good to hear some first hand guest feedback that is just as good.

PS. If any of you lovely lot were looking for a job somewhere like this I happen to know that Syon house is currently advertising for a Wedding Planner (would jump at it myself if I were able)

xx
