Odd routing on my skymap

In August I'm flying from Martha's Vineyard (MVY) to JFK - a short hop of 173 miles. It should be a mere blip on my skymap here on V-Flyer, but it looks like the Jet Blue pilot might be thinking of going via the Russian island of Novaya Sibir in the Arctic Ocean.

Should I pack an extra jumper, just in case? ?| :D

It's probably the routing you'll take whilst circling to land at JFK! :P

I'd pack some extra snacks too.

The same thing happened to me on a routing from SFO to Eureka/Arcata - a mere trip of 200 miles.

Pack a flask and sandwiches :o)
