Really interesting programme, I'd love to go to Juliana Airport in St Martin to watch the planes fly so close!

I watched it again & it was still as interesting as the first time around.

I had San Diego on my bucket list to go & visit the WWII USA aircraft carrier Midway but am thinking of scratching it off :$

A V-flyer trip to ride the fence at St. Maartin? :0

R-P, I loved Midway while in SD over New Year; even Mrs Monster enjoyed it! We were there for at least 4 hours. I suspect that aircraft carrier museums aren't for everyone though...

Landing at St Maarten airport (PJ is pretty easy compared to ...St Maarten to St Barts ... that really is the ride! Two ways in ... fly low across the ocean heading straight for St Jean beach (location of the airport) ...OR, fly between two mountains (tiny) ... pilot (s) cut the engine (you know this because your sitting pretty close to them) ..and you just glide ...downwards! Interestingly, just received e-mail from Flight Aware ...and there on front page "favourite photos" showing a couple of photos of a Winair flight coming into land ....awesome! Hope I'm still around in March to give a TR :-)

Sat on the beach at St Maarten enjoying a drink (or two) from the sunset bar whislt an Air France A340 or KLM 744 fly in over head is an experience to be enjoyed - when I was there in April, it was fantastic.
