I will... ):
However surprisingly, I quite like their decision.
Firstly, its groundbreaking and potentially controversial, if nothing else creates a buzz
Secondly, If this issue, warrants the effect it is perceived to have, then a canny business decision, however I think it is a marketing tools to woo a certain type of traveller in the current economic climate, mentioning no stereotypes :w
Thirdly, Big headline & coverage for what will affect a handful of tickets/year...fair play to them.. oo)
Fourthly, Headline grabbing, innovative and savvy marketing....wasn't this VS previously..
Being a parent of a young child, I have no issue with segmentation,if needed, i.e. snooze zones etc. however there is a concern using this method there is a potential to start stereotyping (do we avoid issuing champagne to those wearing velour?), Given many parents will travel business for work and show loyalty in using the same airline for their hols only for it to be thrown back in their face... a risky move

Couldn't agree more.
I used to always fly BA first for business and enjoyed the experience, but when the family flew Y to Australia together for the first time I had serious problems getting the airmiles - even though they confirmed the tickets qualified. At the same time BA were quoted in the press saying they wanted to proactively concentrate on the Business Class market.
Luckily, Virgin had just started flying to New York and I haven't bought a BA ticket since! y)
