(Hurricane) Katia heading accross the Atlantic

Could be a bumpy ride for flights the next couple of days

Though she is now a tropical storm and will 'only' be a 'storm' when she reaches Scotland !

I've been keeping a close eye on weather.com and their "Tropical Update" it was very interesting to see the projected path heading for "Britain" as they put it.

Looks like gales for all of us, I had a weather alert email through from the Met Office this afternoon and I'm down south!

Having seen what Irene did when it hit Boston as a tropical storm, I'm not looking forward to my LHR-BOS flight on Sunday.

Can probably expect some comfortably sub 6 hour block times on eastbound flights then.
