Giraffe is a good bet and reasonable price-wise

I love Giraffe! They reply to my Tweets. They're nice like that!

There's also Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food which is nice, if pricey.

I really enjoyed the breakfast I had at Carluccios landside in T5 the other day.

The Concorde Room ):

Giraffe is fine.

I actually like Plane Food. It was very quiet and relaxing last time I was in there (lunch time).

can't remember what it is called but the british pub look alike on the far left hand side always came up to our (and the kids)expectations for breakfast.

Dearest Gurus

Thanks everso for all your suggestions. oo)

I would like to say here & now that I only drink bubbles for breakfast when with Sunshine ;) I only do it out of the goodness of my heart to keep her company. What a good friend am I???

We'll attempt to give Giraffe a go because in going thru old emails to delete, I saw an offer with AMEX MR that if you use your GOLD MR card then you get extra points :) Now all I have to do is remember that when I pay, along with using my BAA card y)

Will report back in due course

Thanks to all of you who were kind enough to give their opinions for a good brekkie at T5.

By the time I'd got up at silly o'clock (well it was to me) & whipped thru the security channel etc, my colleague & I were starving so we headed for Giraffe as it was 10 paces from having put my boots back on.

I have to say thanks to the V-Flyers who recommened this option as the breakfast itself was very good. The service was a little bit slow but that didn't matter as we had plenty of time.

So thanks again, I'd happily have a meal there again.

And yes, I did remember to use my Gold Amex to get the double points BAA offer :D
