Does anyone know the current state of work around upstairs before departures?

It had about the same sparse facilities as the hellholes the likes of East Midlands (a pub) in September. Has it improved yet? Whens that work expected to be finished? Anyone have any ideas?

When Mrs Buns and I travelled through in early October, they had just opened the state of the art security channels on the upper floor and the place was dreamily uncrowded y) y)

Airside, the South Terminal is getting a lot better

Airside was fine, quick trip to check that Dixons is still useless, check to see that Duty free isn't what it used to be (mostly duty paid now) and the the Clubhouse... So no issues there...

This is about whether to stay on airport or off airport the night before... There were two little restaurants and a wetherspoons, which were heaving because there wasn't anything else...
