To put it mildly, Homeland Security would alsways err on the side of caution. In the event that the affected pax did intend to do any damage they would prefer to have stopped them rather than ignore what may be an obvious warning

Big brother is watching...

The phrase would ring alarm belss in any data trawling systems, it would loose the "street talk" aspect of the intended meaning....

That said, a little bit of common sense would have sorted it out, but then, an immigration agent wouldn't want to take the risk I guess.

Great caution required these days on Twitter etc, employers, security agencies, HMRC and everyone trawls the net for anything posted.

Exactly, They will deny entry to an idiot who posted something stupid on his twitter feed rather than running the risk 100% of the time.
